About Sugartime Trio

Classic Harmony.
Big Band Energy.
Unforgettable Nights.

Our Story

Since 2016, Sugartime Trio has been bringing sophisticated vocal harmony, swinging rhythms, and irresistible personality to stages throughout the Pacific Northwest. What began as a three-part female vocal ensemble with Kim Maguire, Caitlin Frances, and Meg McLynn has grown into a dynamic musical collective—with an expanded roster of singers and a whole lot more ways to make the music happen.

From the intimate charm of a jazz club to the energy of a packed concert hall, Sugartime knows how to make an audience feel part of the show. Our repertoire travels from the swingin’ sounds of the 1930s to contemporary favorites, blending tight vocal harmonies, lush ballads, playful charisma, and plenty of hot swing.

And we don't do it alone. Sugartime regularly joins forces with Critical Mass Big Band, creating an exhilarating combination of powerhouse big band sound and sleek, sophisticated vocal artistry. For smaller stages, we team up with The Mighty Few—Phil Demaree on bass, Leeran Raphaely on keys, and Chris Monroe on drums—to create a tight, swinging sound that can fill a room without missing a beat.

Whether you're planning a concert, corporate event, private celebration, fundraiser, club date, or an unforgettable night at home, Sugartime can tailor the experience to fit your event. With arrangements ranging from a jazz trio to an eight-piece orchestra or a full sixteen-piece big band, the sky’s the limit!

Timeless songs. Killer harmonies. Swinging musicians. One unforgettable experience.

Bring Sugartime to your stage, your venue, your home, or your backyard —and let’s make some music!
